AO HIN KHONG               Click to go BACK or click for HOME Ao Hin Khong is at one end of a long bay which it shares with Ao Wok Tum - and is sometimes divided by a stream which feeds into the sea. At the centre of Hin Khong, not far from the village of Ban Hin Khong, is 'Lipstick Cabana' with rooms for 60 baht to 180 baht. On the southern end of the village is the similarly priced 'Hin Khong'. Suprisingly, for a stretch of beach this long, there is very little 'on-beach' developement, maybe because there is very little beach space from shore to land, with a long dirt track running parallel to it. Nonethe less, the accommodation that is here is very reasonably priced, and if you ask around, you may be able to find some even cheaper long term accommodation i.e. house or flat rental.
